THE STUDENT COMMITTEE OF THE SMOLENSK STATE AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY IS PREPARING FOR A MEETING WITH FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS
The "Mentor School" offsite educational session, a key step in preparation for the new academic year, has concluded. The Academy's student committee underwent intensive training aimed at developing leadership qualities, communication skills, and psychological support techniques.
The session's program was truly comprehensive: experts and experienced mentors conducted training sessions on team building, conflict resolution, and effective adaptation for first-year students. Participants of the "Mentor School" shared experiences and developed interaction formats that will help recent applicants quickly acclimate to the university environment.
Our mentors are now ready for their important mission. They will be not only senior colleagues but also a reliable support system for first-year students: they will help them navigate the academic schedule, introduce them to the Academy's traditions, and provide support in resolving any issues that arise at the start of their student journey.
We are confident that with this preparation, the newcomers' integration into the large Smolensk State Agricultural Academy family will be easy, engaging, and enjoyable!
