Research remains the foundation of higher education. For the conscientious and productive work and outstanding achievements in research, faculty members at the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Governor of the Smolensk Region. Faculty members are the bearers of scientific knowledge and the purveyors of new ideas.

The student community also demonstrated strong performance, successfully combining academic study with creative and civic engagement. This was vividly demonstrated by the results of the All-Russian "Patriots of Russia" competition held among agricultural universities in the Central Federal District:

- First Place Diploma (Nomination: "Author's Prose Competition") – Daria Chulkova;

- Second Place Diploma (Nomination: "Visual Works Competition: Digital Drawing") – Elizaveta Ivanova;

- Third Place Diploma (Nomination: "Visual Works Competition: Drawing") – Ekaterina Ignatenkova.

Furthermore, Sergey Kharitonov, Acting Rector of the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy, was awarded a Letter of Gratitude on behalf of the leadership of Michurinsk State Agricultural University for his significant contribution to fostering patriotism in agricultural students.
