UNMANNED TECHNOLOGIES IN AGRICULTURE

A working meeting with Dmitry Kaisin, Rector of the University of National Technological Initiatives 2035, was held at the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy. Representatives of the Academy administration, the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and the autonomous non-profit organization "Scientific and Production Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems SMOLENSK" (ANPO “SPC UAS SMOLENSK”) took part in the discussion.
The central topic of the dialogue was the implementation of an innovative project to introduce unmanned aerial systems into the agricultural sector of the Smolensk region. For the Academy, the key objective will be not only the practical use of drones in the fields but also the training of qualified personnel for the relevant applications.
It should be noted that on January 28, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Academy's Rector, Sergei Kharitonov, and the General Director of the ANPO “SPC UAS SMOLENSK”, Oleg Koval. The partnership encompasses a wide range of interactions: from joint research and development to academic and scientific events, courses, conferences, and seminars.
