AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY WEEK FOR STUDENTS IN AGRICULTURAL CLASSES
As part of a series of thematic weeks dedicated to priority areas of the Russian Federation's Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development, Agricultural Technology Week was held for students in agricultural classes.
Smolensk State Agricultural Academy co-organized this event, offering schoolchildren the opportunity to visit the university's zoological museum, see living cells in motion and examine their structure during a master class, and participate in the quest "Growing Organics in a Cyberpunk World."
Additionally, as part of the thematic week, schoolchildren were able:
- to immerse themselves in the world of modern agricultural technology by participating in a lecture entitled "Big Challenges for 21st Century Agricultural Technology."
- to demonstrate their knowledge of biology, genetics, ecology, and modern agricultural technologies at the "Modern Agricultural Technologies" Olympiad;
- to develop creative and research skills in the "GMO: Prospects of Genetic Engineering" poster competition.
Agrotechnology Week provided schoolchildren with an opportunity to glimpse the future of agriculture, learn about upcoming scientific and technological breakthroughs, and explore promising and in-demand professions in this field.
