As part of the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex," specialized courses for more than 20 teachers supervising agricultural technology classes in the region were successfully completed at the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy. The Academy served not only as an educational but also as a practical center for this project, providing a unique environment for the professional growth of teachers.
The training program was structured around the principle of "from theory to practice." The theoretical component included lectures by Smolensk State Agricultural Academy tutors on the latest trends in agronomy, veterinary science, digitalization, and agricultural economics.
A key element of the courses were field trips to leading agricultural enterprises in the Smolensk region - LLC “Khleborob” and Agricultural Production Cooperative “Talashkino-Agro”. Here, educators were able to witness firsthand how modern technologies are transforming the agro-industrial complex.
The practical experience is fundamental to achieving the main objective: developing in schoolchildren a relevant, comprehensive, and attractive understanding of professions in agriculture!
