The V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ensuring Sustainable Development in the Context of Agriculture, Energy, Ecology and Earth Sciences" (ESDCA-V-2025) was held jointly with the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Sustainable Development: Technology, Energy, Materials Science, Physics and Mechanical Engineering" (VMAEE-IV-2025) (organized by Karshi State Technical University, Karshi, Uzbekistan) online.

The conference addressed issues related to agriculture, crop farming, forestry and agricultural products, as well as the use and application of technical devices in agriculture, problems of preserving biological diversity, ecology and environmental protection, issues of the fuel and energy complex and Earth science.

More than 50 articles from representatives of scientific and research, state and commercial organizations, representatives of almost all agricultural and agrarian universities in Russia, as well as scientists from the middle and far abroad were submitted to the conference. Colleagues from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation made presentations.

The conference moderators were Iraida Romanova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher School of the Russian Federation, Professor of the Department of Agronomy, Horticulture, Selection, Seed Production and Land Management of the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy, Artur Gibadullin, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics in Energy and Industry of the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute", Dmitry Morkovkin, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Participants and guests of the conference appreciated the high level of the reports, the scientific and practical application of the proposed approaches and methods, as well as the need to form scientific groups to conduct joint international research on current issues in the development of agriculture, energy, ecology and Earth science.
