FROM GRAIN TO TABLE
The Smolensk State Agricultural Academy held a master class “What does bread smell like?”, organized as part of the All-Russian project “Visiting a Scientist” from the public-state movement “Movement of the First”.
Schoolchildren from Smolensk visited the Academy’s laboratory, where they learned about the bread production process - from sowing grain to the finished product. They saw how one of the most important products on our table is made, and were even able to participate in this exciting process!
At the end of the master class there was a tasting of different types of bread. Participants tried different varieties and chose their favorite!
Project “What does bread smell like?” helps us understand and appreciate the traditions of our country, and develops the patriotic consciousness of the younger generation. This is important for developing respect for culture and traditions!
